Oh The Horror, Purgatory

Night heard Sakrols question and looked around. The thing was they could not see the enemy and though she knew it was powerful she was not close enough to get a feel for all of it's power. Then there were unknown like what it's magics were, what it's class was. However the one thing they did know was it definently had power and it was a special enemy like several they had run into in the past. Each one had power and often some kind of special abilities. Also another thing they knew was they were in a area full of dangerous chemicals. A battle in this place could end horribly for them. If a spell hit the wrong place or one of them got sent flying into one of the places full of chemicals it would be deadly. Night crossed her arms as she thought as the risk was rather high and normally to were she would jump in the number of hazards in the room just far outnumbered what could logically be dealt with. She normally did not care for such risk but this was just an overwhelming risk. They would have to so carefully control there spells and there was no garuntee the enemy would take such caution. Overall it was not the enemy but the very environment itself that posed more of a threat. Honestly I dont like the idea of fighting here. The chemicals all here are volatile and dangerous. One miss or even a plausible hit on the enemy could set off a chain reaction more dangerous than whatever this possible enemy is. She said with a sigh. So the best idea will honestly be try to avoid conflict here. She said scratching the back of her head.

Sakrol listened to what night had to say about what they should do, she recommended not fighting due to the environment that they were in. Sakrol understood why Night was so worried, with all this volatile stuff in here there is no telling what might happen when things get a little rough in this place. Fine then, I guess we will sneak past then huh? Where do you think the closest door is? I'm worried if we stay still too long the enemy might find us and then we are in some trouble... Sakrol was ready to move, best if they moved quickly before the enemy decides to go around for a walk and stumbling upon them.

Night pointed to the door behind them that was now sealed. Any other door would seem to be up sadly. She said crossing her arms as she thought. As for the enemy do not worry I will sense it before it will us. Any way follow me. Move silently, do not rush and do not panic. She said and moved forward. She would creep along slowly. As they did Celena hopped off of her shoulder. They went up the double stair case to the second floor and Celena would peak her head around the corner first. The good thing about a small familiar is no one would notice her less they looked for her. Celena did not see the enemy but Night could now sense it fully with her eye of the mind. It had power, and a good deal of it. As Night evaluated the FOE more Cel looked and spotted no door and another stair case at the end of the room. No door just more stairs. Enemy is on the floor above. In terms of power it is stronger than it should be much like every major enemy we have faced. It should be nothing more than a danger beast but in terms of power it matches a abyssal. She said a bit bitterly. Normally such an enemy she would love to fight, she was half tempted to blow a hole in the floor and drop it down. However this room could become an alchemical disaster. She had a plan though now. She could guess from the fact it was not moving it was standing close to something. Most likely it was the exit. A simple yet effective strategy for a creature that automatically seals one of the only two exits in the room. So this is a guess, but the enemy is likely at the only other door out of here. She said with a sigh. However remember how I dealt with the Keeper originally? I will do the same here. I will use Zero point eclipse or Will of the Conqueror to knock it out so we can pass through safely. What she was not saying was she hoped they would run into this enemy again. Does that sound good? She would ask him.

Stats:

Night told Sakrol to follow her, silently and panicking wasn't allowed. Sakrol only nodded to Night's orders and as she moved he followed her, Sakrol put trust in Night to lead them out of here without any harm. Night's fox familiar seemed to go scout ahead as it went up the stairs before them, Night then spoke that there wasn't a door up those stairs but only more stairs to go up from. Night was also able to sense the enemy more clearly now so she shared information about it. Night also said that she is guessing that this enemy might be blocking the only exit from here, well that didn't sound great at all. Sakrol was already wondering if they had to go little rough in here but thankfully Night had a plan, she suggested that she might do the same thing to this enemy as what she had done to the Keeper when they fought it the first time around. Night asked for Sakrol's opinion on this, Sakrol smiled and gave his answer. Go right ahead, I'm all in this plan. Do you need any help or are you gonna move up there on your lonesome and do your thing?

Night chuckled at what Sakrol said. Just follow behind. The affect of Zero point eclipse is not permanent. She said in a rather simple manner. Cel would head up the next set of stairs and Night followed. Cel poked her head around the the corner and spotted Nemesis. Night received the image telepathically from her familiar. The thing was rather large and grotesque. It had not noticed them yet and that was probably the only reason why it had yet to attack. Night would waist no time in the only attack that would be made in this battle. She hopped out swiftly and held out both her hands. She released her flames of the spirit and cast Zero point eclipse. It hit the large Mutant and froze it. The magic circuits in the creature frozen and now damaged would give them time to head through the door behind the beast. Night headed towards the door and headed through her familiar on her heels.

Stats:

Night told Sakrol to only follow her for now, so if that was the case then he would just follow her. Sakrol would follow Night and just watch for now as she did her thing to the enemy. The mutant got frozen by Night and now it was time to head through the door as Sakrol would just follow Night for now. But hopefully wherever they stumbled upon there wasn't anything more worse than that, the possibility was always present though.

Night entered the classroom and saw the duck tape appear across the door. Well that meant there was another FOE in the area. However she sensed something it was keeping out of her range. It was dancing around her and she hated it. It was annoying like a bug but if it was keeping to it's own for now. She would go and test all three doors, and all three would not budge. She would look at the whiteboard and saw the riddle. Was this really another answer the riddle and get out question? Was that what the enemy was waiting for? For them to focus on the answer and then get stabbed gutted burned bashed or something while not paying attention? The class of there enemy was rather obvious at this point as it must be an assassin. Maybe with the darkness apocalyptic magic? It had to be something along those lines at least to dance at the edge of the eye of the mind and still be unseen. But now what to do about this situation?

Night and Sakrol entered another room as they had avoided the enemy in the previous one thanks to Night's shenanigans. Sakrol found this room strange looking, why there were desks and other stuff around the place. Sakrol has never been in a school before so he wouldn't know anything about it, for him it was just a room filled with desks. There were three doors to proceed from, but was this another one of those quiet rooms that they were in since Sakrol couldn't find an enemy in here and Night didn't seem to react to anything much. Night went to try all three doors but none of them opened, how annoying. There was however something written on a large board stuck to the wall, it seemed like another riddle waiting to be answered. This one seemed to be a bit more harder than the previous ones, Sakrol had no clue what it could be. What a nice riddle huh? I can't think of anything that would match that riddle Night, you wouldn't happen to know the answer to this one? Sakrol was indeed completely clueless about the riddle and he didn't know about the enemy lurking in the room either.

Night looked at the riddle and heard what Sakrol said. So he had no idea? Well what was the riddle? She had not honestly looked at the riddle yet. She saw the the riddle and chuckled. This was a rather old one. She was not to surprised Sakrol did not know the answer as the item was not one used now these days. Well at least not commonly used. The answer is a lantern. Most likely we have to write the answer on the board. As she said this Ghost face showed itself. It appeared and lunged at Night. She used blink though and vanished dodging the attack and appeared right behind Ghost Face and pivoted and slammed her foot square in his back. Flames of enchantment cloaked her feet and sent the foe straight into the wall. Think maybe we should write the answer in this things blood? She asked as Ghost face vanished using embrace of the shadows.

Stats:

Sakrol listened as Night answered the riddle, she said it was a lantern and that they probably should write it on the board for the door to open. But before they could do it something leaped towards Night but she just vanished out of the way. So there was an enemy in the room and Night didn't tell Sakrol about it? Either she completely left that part out or she didn't know about the enemy either but Sakrol thought that that was highly unlikely. Either way Night had already kicked the foe to the wall, she asked if they should write the answer to the riddle with its blood. Sakrol answered to Night's suggestion as he drew his blade out since the enemy had disappeared from view. How ever you wanna do it, I don't really care as long as this thing dies and we get to continue. The only problem is that I can't find it, so it's an assassin eh? Night, you could point me towards the right direction right? Sakrol wasn't able to see nor sense the enemy, so he had to ask if Night could help him in that regard.

Stats:

Night honestly was not in to much of a mood to actually play around. She may not have the ability to sense an assassin that could hide like this but she could use magic to counter his power. She cast tendrils of darkness and twelve tendrils of darkness would spread like a web across the floor. The Ghost face was not paying attention and could not perceive them due to the speed and dark affect upon them. He would step on one even invisible and it would swiftly snap him up and the other 12 would react just as swiftly and pierce through the guys body. One tendril would write on the board in the blood dripping off of it Lantern as the answer and the doors would open. Night then cast Prominence of Chaos and focused all twelve circles which anyone with eye of the mind could see locked onto the Ghost face and all at once fired the pillars of chaos. The magic was so dense it could not be seen into. Once the spell ended there was literally nothing left. Night looked at Sakrol and said. Ready to move on? She would ask him in a bored tone.

Stats:

There wasn't much Sakrol could do, he could not attack an enemy that he could not see nor sense its position to even try. Night did something however but Sakrol was unsure what exactly until the assassin got caught in it. Night had caught the assassin in her magic tendrils and pierced the enemy, as the blood was dripping from the assassin one of Night's tendrils wrote the answer to the riddle on the board with its blood. So Night wasn't kidding about the idea of writing the answer with its blood huh? Night did do something else as well, but Sakrol was unable to see what exactly. But after all that the assassin had completely disappeared and Night asked Sakrol if he was ready to move on in a boring sounding tone. Sakrol sheathed his sword as Night had completely obliterated the foe, he would then look at Night and answer to her question. Yeah I guess so, no need to stay put when the door is open and all. You sure did destroy that assassin completely, I wasn't even able to perceive what was going on exactly... Not much of a fight huh? Sakrol was ready to move on, he was waiting for Night to lead the way.

Night went through the open door to the next room.

The next room was rust colored. The floor was a giant grate and a fan swung slowly. Otherwise it was a simple room the only door though besides the one the two would enter from was sealed as Pyramid Head stood in the way.

Night could sense the demons power. She could see the door but also knew this demon was in there way. It was no joke either She frowned and took a breathe. Sakrol, I know you have not really taken many of the things that we have confronted seriously. But this one do. Dont hesitate or doubt my words. The foe before us is no joke and even I right now am shivering with both anticapation and actual fear. This thing is stronger then even that safe monster we have fought twice now. She clenched her fist and was thinking of what would be a good opening attack? What would be a good way to go about this battle? She decided it was best not to hesitate for long. She summoned Omega Guardian and the black being rose behind her. It charged at Pyramid head and went to smash it's fist into the demon. However with a mighty clash the demon caught the fist. It clenched the guardian and swung it by it's arm and threw it into a wall. The guardian fired a dark laser at Pyramid head but the demon rushed it unfazed. Then Pyramid head lifted its great knife and chaos magic flowed around it as it lunged. Twelve dark tendrils appeared from the Omega guardian and rushed the oncoming attack. They wrapped around the blade and seemed to halt the attack. At least until chaos magic tore through the darkness breaking it apart as an aura of chaos doubled the blades size. Night projected a dark scythe and flames of the spirit formed along the blade and she swung firing omega singularity. The spell hit and a dark orb formed around the demon temporarily sealing it as gravity would crush it dealing damage. Omega guardian used the time to get away. Night spun her scythe as she prepared for what would happen next once her spell ended.

Stats:

Sakrol and Night were now in a new room, the whole place was rust in color and didn't look very inviting. There also seemed to be an enemy waiting for them, it was blocking the next door in this room. The enemy was a demon with a big pyramid shaped helmet on its head and it was holding a giant knife as its weapon, Sakrol wasn't sure how he felt about this enemy. Night began to speak about the enemy however and what she said didn't sound so nice, the fact that Night herself said that even she was afraid of this thing wasn't really inspiring to Sakrol. Night however summoned something and attacked the Pyramid Head, with all the things going on the Pyramid Head didn't seem to care and it did seem quite powerful. Night was able to stop it for a moment and she was preparing her next attack it seemed, Sakrol unsheathed his sword and came a bit closer to try and assist Night in the fight. Sakrol used Wind Magic and cast Violent Breeze to give both of them a small boost, a strong wind filled the room as the spell took effect. Sakrol was getting ready for a quick sword swing on the Pyramid Head after Night's attack, Sakrol wasn't sure if his attack would even leave a scratch on the damn brute but it was worth a try.

Stats:

Night raised a hand as a signal to Sakrol as she grinned. Thanks for the boost but dont try to physically interfere here. This is were us monsters duke it out. As she said this the Omega singularity ended, blood dripped from the demon but it healed as it stood still seemingly unphased. Night grinned. Even with a phantasm grade spell and the Omega guardian pounding you you stand. This will be fun. She said darkly as her hair turned white and nine ethereal white fox tails bloomed out from behind her. She held out her left hand as Pyramid head swung the great knife sending out a burst of chaos magic. Omega guardian blinked in front of the attack though and took the hit as Night cast celestial illusion and Abyss break. The dome of abyss break was thirteen feet in diameter. Omega guardian fired a dark beam but Pyramid head blocked with its great knife as Night continued her preparations. She let go of her dark flaming scythe and let it float in the air as black and pink aura encased her and swirled into an orb around her. It burst open and their stood a 8ft tall bipedal black dragon with nine white ethereal fox tails. She had used primordial one a power to double the power of her true form but at half the time to be in it. Omega Guardian was sent flying back with a punch charged with pyramid heads chaos magic and Night fired her magi breathe weaved with dark chaos void and flames of the spirit. The breathe attack slammed into the demon but it turned and walked towards her. It must have had a powerful ability to withstand. She paused as her breathe ended and noted she had sensed the damage taken, but it, it must be a berserker, a defender. This was not going to be easy. She decided she would end it here and now. All her weapons minus dark threads, clawed gauntlets and boots, spiked spiked chains and her two special weapons appeared as projected weapons and were mass projected. This made 256 weapons now pointed at Pyramid head. All coated in flames of enchantment and this made the even this demon of terror pause. This was a lot of pure raw power on display as she was a mage knight but had been trained by a mage knight who had been a war mage.

Stats:

Sakrol was preparing his offensive move but Night told him to not interfere, Sakrol obviously didn't like that but with the things going on there wasn't much he could do. Night had unleashed her true form and used various other powers she had to fight the Pyramid Head, Sakrol was just staring the display of power in front of him. But like always he felt a bit useless, but it is better to wait it out than throwing ones life out of the window. Sakrol backed up as he continued to watch.

Stats:

Night was glad that for once Sakrol listened. This battle was between monsters, he had no place in it. However she was not going to let this battle get dragged out either. She had all her weapons that were projected start to glow as she activated projection overcharge and fired. The rifles each fired a massive magic bullet like a canon as they exploded and all the rest of the weapons flew at the demon. They would all collide and explode magical power overflowing but maintained inside Abyss break. Shockwaves shook the room though, the trembles would stop as the magic faded away from the explosion. As the dust began to clear a spear of glowing chaos magic flew out. Night dodged easily and the spear hit the abyss break and exploded. Night looked and saw Pyramid head leaning on it's blade blood pouring out of many wounds. Chunks of the demons body were gone, a leg was disintegrated, the other was bent at an awkward angle. The blade was at the moment the demons crutch as it's wounds slowly healed, however the results were clear, it was going to lose.

Stats:

The wind of Sakrol's Violent Breeze died down. Sakrol stayed at a distance as he watched the battle, he still did look at the Pyramid Head intensely in case it decided to come after him but probably not as it was too busy with Night at the moment as it was healing from the wounds she had inflicted upon it. Sakrol looks at Night and shouts to her. Finish it Night! Then we can move on right!? He then continued to watch how Night would end its miserable existence.

Night heard what Sakrol said and laughed. It is already beaten. My abyss break spell is about to end and a void storm will consume it. Chaos weapons hit it and are eating away at it's stamina and my illusion eats the demons life force. I used a lot of energy so I will let my void magic take what is owed. She said her voice echoing with the power of her current form. All she said was true. The bombardment of magic weapons did take a toll on her. Then again she had made enough to arm an army and made them explode. It was part of her war mage style though. The abyss break was drawing to a close as the dome started to shimmer and then the bottom seemed to open up. Then Dark purplish black energy poured through filling the dome, the void storm. Pyramid head was blasted with it it's life force ripped from it. The storm soon stopped and the dome vanished as Night reverted back to her normal form. Pyramid head fell over seeming to dissolve as it died. Good enough for you? She asked Sakrol as she petted her familiar.

Sakrol watched as the demon Pyramid Head got completely beaten by Night, it was an impressive little show and all but it was time to move on. Sakrol snorted as he was walking to the next door while speaking in a neutral tone to her. "Yeah I guess... You did get the job done and we can finally move on here, though this uncertainty in what is behind the next door is killing me. I mean, it can be either nothing or something even worse than this?" Sakrol waited for Night to come over to the door so they can go through it together.

Night popped the cork of one of her blood vials. She took a drink needing it to help refresh herself. Just part of vampirism. Probably one of the few downsides however to her this was natural. She was glad that she could still eat other food though only for flavor. However as she had been born this way blood was always required for her. Night then proceeded to the door and entered it.
FP 6/15

Sakrol moved to the next room with Night, what kinda horror waited them now? All he could so was just guess for now, Sakrol glanced through the room which did look a little nasty but the swampy feel it had reminded Sakrol only of his home. Though Sakrol was unsure about the rest of the room like the walls and such, it had a foreign design to him. The painting started acting weird though, apparently this room was nothing but trouble, worse still something else was rising from the pile of mud in one of the corners. Sakrol unsheathed his sword and took a defensive stance for now, fighting in such limited space was not to his liking.

Stats:

Night entered the room and the first thing that caught her attention was the two entities in the room. As the door sealed with fog she had her confirmation. She noticed it looked like the room was underground, and with the way it was angled and the pool of mud in the corner, gave it the feeling as if the room had sunk into a swamp, or a bog. She heard a familiar sound, she sighed at the sound as the noise filled the room briefly. The half phantom from before was in here. The second occupant wasted no time to show itself though as a large male figure rose out of the pool of mud. He bore a chain around his neck, a hockey mask on his face and a machete in hand. Well it looked like a fun time lay ahead, as there were two special enemies in the room. Well this is a first. Two enemies in the room Sakrol. One ahead is closer to your power, but dont take him lightly. He radiates an aura of death. She warned. She was keeping an eye out for were ever the half phantom could be. It was hiding and it was doing a good job of it to. She knew it was in the room but that was it. A mist would start creeping into the room and seemed to be coming from the masked one. Night mentally noted this down as likely meaning water magic. The figure started walking towards them seemingly in no rush. Night simply flexed her finger as she waited as beyond the mist it seemed as if no one was in a rush to fight.
